Gladiator does a very good job with strings. You can find a large number of interesting string patches within the pad category.

How 2 build a string patch:

- Press init
- Select Saw as Wave for OSC3
- Set Fine to -10 cent on OSC1
- Set Fine to 10 cent on OSC3
- Set Unison Mode to 4x Mono
- Set Spread to 0.25
- Select Spirit mode 'Pink' and set Depth to 0.25
- Set Attack and Release to 0.6 in Volume Envelope
- Select Reveb Large as Effect
- Set Reveb damp to 0 and size to 0.5
- Set Reverb mix to 0.25
