Creating a 'random step LFO' in Saurus
« on: June 18, 2012, 09:48:24 AM »
1) Go to Arp/Gate and select Gate Sync or Gate Trigger
2) Select the desired BPM rate
3) Create a fake random pattern with the bars on the bottom of the Arp/Gate
4) In the Matrix select Arp/Step+- as source
5) Select a destination (like Cutoff) in the Matrix

Thanks Markus.  I also figured out another way to get proper stepped random.

1) Go to Arp/Gate and select Gate Sync or Gate Trigger
2) Select the desired BPM rate
3) In the Matrix select Random as source and cutoff and destination.

Works great.  I love Saurus.  It's now my go to synth.
