Icarus / Re: Sonar Cakewalk and Icarus ...
Last post by Markus Krause - April 27, 2026, 10:32:10 AM
Hello Carlo,

Icarus2 has been released 7 years ago and is deprecated. I recommend to upgrade it as there has been a massive number of enhancements and new features. The current version is v3.2.
https://www.tone2.com/icarus-update.html

I assume that you have accidently enabled 'aggressive mouse focus'. To disable it, find the "Icarus_data" directory and delete the file "IcarusMouse.cfg".

Best Regards

Gladiator / [solved] Gladiator3_data
Last post by Dumtek - April 23, 2026, 02:42:09 PM
In the file folder "Gladiator3_data"  I am noticing a lot more files thant show up, in what i believe to be files for the sample noise section, seeing that they have the same names.  However there are many more there like "bubbles, rainforest, shotgun, etc." that do not show up in that area yet have the .gls file name.  I did get them to work if i changed the number like to 001 for the set and the gls file that goes with them.

Would love to have the shotgun sound... :-\

One thought i had was due to overall file size and the ones that won't show up got shit canned to make space for  updates and improvements or something. But what do i know.

That or my old ass computer is fagging out or something.   :D

Kind Regards, PDT

UPDATE - I think I figured it out.  One has to purchase the expansions to unlock said sounds i take it.
Seems like" State of Art"  is the one i am after then.

Quote from: Markus Krause on April 23, 2026, 08:07:52 AMThere is indeed a typo in the tooltip. It is just cosmetical and has no effect on the functionality.
I'll fix this in the upcoming update. The update will be free.

Thanks Markus!

Electra 3 / Typo in a tooltip

I just noticed in the latest version (maybe it's been there for a long time?) if you hover the mouse over the 2nd FM knob in the Osc section it shows "OSC34 FM" instead of OSC23 FM.  It also shows it that way in the display at the top left.
