Many of today's music productions are influenced by traditional 'Black Music'. Harmonic and rhythmic structures of various 'Black Music' genres are frequently used in modern music. This soundset features a wide range of legendary and magnificent styles like Soul, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Ragga, Dub, Dancehall, Hip Hop and Trap.
The ability of Icarus to precisely synchronize loops to BPM, makes it very easy to combine the included sounds. As a result, it is possible to create complex tracks rapidly.
The sounds have been programmed by Jens Dibowski. He works as a music producer, composer and sound-designer. Jens has also designed sounds for Kurzweil and Yamaha in the past.

Highlights

- 100 patches
- Over 40 rhythmic patches included, which sync to bpm
- The patches can be combined easily
- Modern and up-to-date sounds
- Created by a professional artist
- Seamless integration into the user interface
- Very easy installation
- Uses the new features introduced with Icarus v1.6

Two users have contacted us that they feel offended by the name 'black music'. We have discussed about a name change and decided to rename the soundset to 'Urban music'. We never had the intention to be rassistic and apologize if the name should have offended someone's feelings.
Please do also note that 'black music' is a very common term in European music since the 90s.

Since the ranaming of a product is a lot of work - in fact we have to rebuild the website, installers and advertizing it will require a week.
