parallel and serial routing of effects
« on: October 27, 2012, 05:39:30 PM »
Hello,
I have a problem about Delay effect.
Following his position in routing the sound is different and more if a Delay is in Effect position 3 with mix knob at 100 %, anymore sound in output.

This problem occurs only with Delay effect. Another effect works correctly in all modules in all positions in routing.
Do you konw this problem ?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

By default FX slot 2 and 3 are routed in parallel. That's why both signals are summed up. Fx1 and FX4 are routed in serial. This parallel routing can be usefull for combining for example a reverb and a delay.

You can swith FX2 and FX3 to serial routing by clicking on the routing field in the middle of the lowr part in the plugin.

In general a WET setting of 100 for a reverb or a delay is not really a musically usefull setting, since the original part of the signal is completely eliminated.
