Routing Midi in Saurus
« on: September 03, 2012, 07:06:54 PM »
Does anyone know if this can be done on this? I absolutely hate using a synth without been able to cotnrol it from my midi keyboard as like getting hands on when creating patches. In the Mark Mosher vid he's able to do it but can't for the life of me figure it out. Have this a few months now and love it but until I can figure out the midi learn function I will not be using it:(. Even to control the cut off would be enough for me!

Cheer,

Seán.

Hello Sean,

there are two different ways how you can route midi CCs to Saurus:

1) Automation from the host:
Nearly all parameters from Saurus can be automated. Within your host software select a Midi CC and route it to a Saurus automation parameter. You can find the details about the setup within the handbook of the host software.

2) By using the Saurus Mod Matrix
Select a Midi CC like 'Modwheel' as source and select 'Cutoff' or any other desired parameter as destination. Set the horizontal slider with the send level to '+100'. The setup will be automatically stored with your song as soon as you save it.

Best Regards,
Markus
