We have an exciting new competition for all you producers and song writers this month.
In light of our recent Saurus Analog Synthesizer release we are now looking for some cool Vintage songs that show us what YOU can do with Saurus and its factory presets. A nice chance to show your producing skills and at the same time win Tone2 products!
How?Simple: download the Saurus demo from our website and produce a short Vintage demo song using only the factory presets. Already have the full version Saurus? we encourage you to compete as well, you can pick your own prize(s) if you win and you do not even have to download the demo to give it a try
The three best songs will be picked by us, win a prize and will be featured in the new Saurus product MP3 demo.
What can I win?1st prize: The winner of the best song wins a $250 credit to spend in the Tone2 shop
2nd prize: The winner of the second best song wins a $200 credit credit to spend in the Tone2 shop
3rd prize: The winner of the third best song wins a $100 credit credit to spend in the Tone2 shop
Everyone else: Not among one of the three winners but still have a good song? No worries! anyone who did not win but whose song is still used in our demo receives a free BiFilter2 license.
The rules- The deadline for demo submissions is the 2nd of July.
- The song style can be Vintage synthesizer only (no exceptions) When we say Vintage think of Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine dream, 70s synth music etc.
- You can use percussion, be it from Saurus' drum presets or other synths/samples.
- Song length can be 2-3 minutes or multiple one minute fragments.
- Important: No post processing, mastering effects or compressors!
- Submit your demos (256 kBit MP3 or Wav) to tone2@tone2.com before the 2nd of July.
- Demo limitations, do not worry about the voice-over demo limitation, should we use your demo we will ask you to re-render the song with the full version thus dropping the voice-over demo warning. Note that the demo has saving enabled, so once a time trial period has run out you can simply restart the project/host to restart the trial period.
