Hello Burkuagh,

Thank you for your feedback!

This trick in Icarus3 does also help to find the right number quickly: When you hover with the mouse over an matrix entry a popup tooltip appears. Here you can see the number of the matrix slot.
If you disabled tooltips: Go to setup and click on 'Tooltips enabled/disabled' on the right bottom box.

Best Regards,
Markus

I am not a big fan of the tool tips because they get in the way and they do not disappear when using the mousewheel on parameters, hiding the number.  I use shift+mousewheel to make a lot of my adjustments and when needing to make equal adjustments to multiple parameters, like osc volume, it annoys me so I keep it turned off.

Wasn't sure where exactly to post this but I found a possible bug in Icarus.  On the main interface window in the OSC sections when you use the mousewheel to scroll through wavetables it skips every other wavetable jumping 2 at a time.

Hello Bukuagh,

I assume that this is related to the mousewhell scrollspeed settings.
Open the mouse settings in your operating system. Then change the scrollspeed of the mousewhell to the minimum.
I will add an additional speed limit for the mouse to +-1 for the next update.

You can also use the arrows next to osc1 to quickly switch through the wavetables.

Thanks! I totally missed the arrows next to Osc.

Another question/request.  Have you guys been looking into AI for patch generators?  Synth XYZ has an AI batch preset creator that lets you guide the kinds of patches you want made like bass, lead, pad, etc.. and you can adjust parameters to make them more or less chaotic or conventional.  I use Icarus's random button when I am in the mood for outright experimentation but it is so handy to be able to guide it to the types of patches you want.  I would love to see something of this kind in your products.

Technically the random button of our products works exactly the same as an AI patch generator.
It uses a smart statistic approach with weights and propabilities.
Unlike the competition we just do not name it 'artificial intelligence' as we think that this is missleading marketing.
