Solved: Gladiator V2.4 in FL Studio V 10 and 11

Hi,

I loaded Gladiator V2.4 in FL Studio V11, selected a preset and saved the project. Everything working fine. Went to load the project and received a message from FL Studio - "There was an error sending the settings to the vst plugin "Gladiator". The settings have not been loaded."

This happens even if I just load a default instance of Gladiator, in a new project with nothing else loaded. Save the project and then try and open it again. It also happens in FL Studio 10. It is fine in Cubase, SO2, Reaper etc..

I am probably doing something stupid, (sorry, in advance if I am!!) so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. (I did do a quick google search, but couldn't find anything pertinent, so either I am alone on this one, or my searching capabilities are not working too well today!!)  

This is on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Any thoughts very much appreciated.

Hey Mark,

There was a fix for the initial 2.4 release that solved a problem like this and it sounds like you have the older build installed.

This should hopefully do the trick:

* Uninstall Gladiator, when the uninstaller has finished delete any leftover files/folder manually.

* Download Gladiator 2.4 from here:

64 bit
http://www.tone2.com/update/Tone2_Gladiator2_PC_64bit.zip

32 bit
http://www.tone2.com/update/Tone2_Gladiator2_PC_32bit.zip

* Install

* Copy your keyfile to the Gladiator2 folder (same folder as the Gladiator DLL)

* Open FLS, rescan plugins.

The problem should now be gone.
