Hello Mark,

Some DAWs can't handle duplicate installations of plugins. When you run the installer make sure that you install it to the same location as your previous installation.
Make sure that there are no duplicates of RayBlasterX64.dll on your system. You can use the Windows file search to track them.

Installing Tone2 synthesizers/effects on PC

A)  Automatic product installation

1. Exit your host program (e.g. Cubase, Ableton...).
2. Double-click on the icon of the full version .exe installer and run the installation. Please note that the demo versions cannot be unlocked. If you are using a 64-bit-host, use the 64-bit-installer. If you are using a 32-bit-host, run the 32-bit-installer.
3. Make sure that you install the VST-plugin to the correct directory. It must be the same directoy for the plugins, which is referenced from within your host software (e.g. C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins).
4. Open your host program.
5. Do a plugin re-scan in the host if it does not list the plugin you just installed. Detailed instructions on how to perform a re-scan can be found in your host's manual.
6. Insert the plugin.
7. Left-click in the "Click here to activate the product" screen.
8. Browse-to and select the key-file (e.g. Electra2.t2k) you received from us to activate the full version.
9. Restart the plugin. Note that some hosts programs may require a complete restart for the plugin to function correctly.

B) Manual product installation (works for all Tone2 products except Icarus2)

1. Exit your host program (e.g. Cubase, Ableton,...).
2. Install the full version of the plugin to the VST plugins directory. Note: the demo versions cannot be unlocked.
3. Copy your plugin key-file (e.g. Saurus.t2k, Electra2.t2k) to the same folder as the plugin's DLL file (the VST plugins directory).
4. Open your host program.
5. Insert the plugin.

If you need further information about installing plugins please take a look at the manual of your host software.
