Electra suggestions

Hi Markus,

My suggestions are for a Electra 3, which will hopefully come sooner or later !

-Loading a preset as Layer in a Layer-Slot via browser
-at least one more effect slot (so 2 per Layer and maybe 2 for all 4 layers)
-loading of real wavetables (with a lenght of 2024 samples per single cycle and a maximum of 256 single cycles
-more Modulation-Slot

-realtime timestreching and pitchshifting (modulation via keytrack positiv and negativ, or LFOs etc.)
an example for this is CronoX4 (but it is discontinued and no more developed and sold)

Best regards

Hello MorpherX,

there are currently no plans for Electra3. Last week we released a free and big update for Electra2. Make sure that you did not miss it:

https://www.tone2.com/electra-update.html

1) You can load synth layers with the 'FILE' menu. I will think about your idea and if there is an elegant way for this with the patch browser.

2) It is very likely that an additional effect slot will be added in a future update

3) Is a nice additon, but will require a change of the patch format.

4) If i remember correctly the engine could handle up to 4x16 modulation slots.

5) Thought about this too. It's a nice idea. What worries me is that it does come at the cost of sound quality. These kind of algorithms always produce artefacts.

Best Regards,
Markus
