THIS is a very good update. Really. Amazing work and thnx for adding the pitch in such a manner that it don't breaks the UI. Very impressive!  :D

Great update...something for everyone  8)

Where are those new semitone settings?

YES! Very good update! Enhancements very much appreciated! Resynthesis with repeating loop is great! (Although full drumloops sound always vocoderlike, but I guess that is part of the wavetable-system and I should better make a wavetable with single drumsounds and then recreate the drumloop thru the wavetable). Nevertheless a great feature!
Selected Tabs highlighted! No more editing the wrong OSC!  :D (Well, almost, since autotab still sometimes lures me into the wrong LFO, maybe autotab could only switch the LFO, when I move the LFO2 knob, NOT when I just change morphmode...?)
Diodes look much better now!  ;D Thanks!
Parameter smoothing works also much better when changing EQ e.g.!
Flanger sound much better! (Although I still miss the possibility to change the "manual" ;)
If you now also grayed out the TABS of the unused OSCs, I could see at once how many I use... :)
All in all a VERY good update!! Thanks a lot!

Cheers

P.S.
If you have some spare time (haha) I would wish for two more Reverb modes: gated, with adjustable gate time and reverse, with adjustable time as well.

I am glad that you like the update so muach.  :)

A gated and Reverb could indeed be nice. I'll add this to the feature request thread.

Overall, It's a very good update, but I'm mostly concerned about the "Repeating Loop" re-synthesis mode, which (to my ears anyway) sounds pretty garbled. Any plans on improve the overall sound quality of this mode?

Beta 3 isn't a release candidate. So i suspect some extra stuff has been done before they release it.

Certainly the bugs I reported, one of which I got confirmation on it being reproduced is still there in the release version.

Did not know where to post: When I go to the download section and download Icarus, there is a link to 32bit and 64 bit versions. But the downloaded file is the same, containing both versions, so one download was obsolete. The other plugins have dedicated versions in the download section... Just a hint...

Cheers

Hello Dumbo,

Thanks for the feedback.

As you correctly noticed the previous products had different zips for 64bit and 32bit version. For Icarus we have changed our licensing and distribution scheme. As a result the PC ZIP now contains 32bit as well as the 64bit version. The new scheme makes it easier for us as well as for others to distribute the software. To keep the consistence with the previous product's scheme we linked to the same file within the download section. Furthermore it is not longer necessary to install the full version after the demo was installed. It now can be activated from within the product.

I currently have beta3 installed. Is v1.0 different from beta3? Should I install v1.0? Thanks.

If you have 'closed beta3' installed (the one from January) then you should update. If you have 'public beta3' installed (the one from July) then you can skip it.

I have the public beta3 from July installed so I'll skip it. Thanks.
