This month we have a brand new competition for all you producers and song writers.

In light of our recent Rayblaster synthesizer release, we are now looking for some original demo songs. Show us what YOU can do with Rayblaster and its factory presets.

A nice chance to demonstrate your producer skills, check out what Rayblaster is capable of and at the same time win Tone2 products!

██ How?

Download the Rayblaster demo from our website (http://tone2.com/html/rayblaster_synthesizer_vst_au.html) and produce a short demo song, using only the factory presets. Already have the full version of Rayblaster? we encourage you to compete as well :-)

The best three songs will be picked by us, win their prize and will be featured in the product's MP3 demo.

██ What can I win?

1st prize: The winner of the best song wins a $250 credit to spend in the Tone2 shop

2nd prize: The winner of the second best song wins a $200 credit credit to spend in the Tone2 shop

3rd prize: The winner of the third best song wins a $100 credit credit to spend in the Tone2 shop

?: Not among the winning tracks but still have a good demo song? No worries! anyone who did not win, but still has their song used in our product demo, receives a free Warmverb or Filterbank3 license.e.

██ The rules

- The deadline for demo submissions is the 13th of January 2013.

- The song style can be any style you want. Make it interesting though, modulation and taking Rayblaster beyond the usual is a good way to make us smile while we listen.

- You can use percussion, be it from Rayblaster's drum presets or other synths/samples.

- Demo song length can be 2-3 minutes or multiple one minute fragments.

- Important: Absolutely no post processing, mastering effects or compressors!

- Submit your demos (Wav or 256 kBit MP3) to tone2@tone2.com before the 13th of January 2013.

Hey TikTikTik, like the username :)

Sure, tweaking is permitted, as long as it's not too different (think importing completely new waveforms etc..)

Merry X-mas / Yuletide,

Hey TikTikTik,

We'll have more contests coming, I'm sure one of the following will include creating your own sounds as well.

Perhaps we should have a patch design contest, would be nice to see what people can come up with :)

Cheers!
