IngoWeidner:
Hi,

here is the full version of my own audio demo which in parts is included in the official demo:

Ingo Weidner - Empire Of Rays - Rayblaster Demo 1

ZIP file with WAV file for better quality:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/Ingo%20Weidner%20-%20Empire%20Of%20Rays%20-%20Rayblaster%20Demo%201.zip

This audio demo is based on 6 instances of Rayblaster and one instance of D16 Group Drumazon (= TR-909 emulation). No external FXs (also no Compressor) were used while rendering.

Here is a different version ("Remix") using a different drum part based on FXpansion Geist instead of Drumazon:

Ingo Weidner - Empire Of Rays - Remix 1

WAV file for this version (no ZIP):
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/Ingo%20Weidner%20-%20Empire%20Of%20Rays%20-%20Remix%201.wav

Have fun,
Ingo

IngoWeidner:
For those who are interested i just rendered only the two pad sounds (one analog and one digital) of my demo:

Ingo Weidner - Empire Of Rays - Pads Only Demo 1

For both the volume is slowly evolving (done with automation), first the analog pad and then the digital one. In the middle of the track both have the full volume.

Here is a demo that only includes the digital ("wavetable") pad:

Ingo Weidner - Empire Of Rays - WT Pad Only

Here the same track with a different wavetable pad (both pads included in the factory sounds):

Ingo Weidner - Rayblaster WT Pad Demo 2

great work and great demo !

Markus Krause:
Indeed excellent work from our artists.

One thing that i've noticed is that RayBlaster seems to inspire them to experiment with new styles of music:
Usually we get a lot of eurodance and mainstream stuff, but this time we received a huge amount of very unique tracks. There was so much unique material that i had to sit down for myself and write some additional tracks which are more on the mainstream side to make sure that no potential customer is scared away by too much new style.
With RayBlaster i see a realistic chance that new styles of music will be born or influenced. I hope that now music develops a step forward. During the last years there hasn't been really something new. The last bigger innovation was with tekkno/dance and hiphop/rap. I am really getting bored by hearing the same music over and over again when i go out.
