Some more useful information already posted at KVR:
I'll take a few days off from this thread so if someone is searching for information about Raybaster i post a quote of my own post:
A small collection with places for informations and resources about Tone2 Rayblaster.
1.) The official Rayblaster websitehttp://www.tone2.com/html/rayblaster_synthesizer_vst_au.htmlHere you could download the product demo and listen to audio demos.
Additionally there are a few informations about the synth.
2.) The feature overview video and the second part of thewebsitehttp://www.tone2.com/html/impulse_modelling_synthesis__i.htmlThis website includes the feature overview video which explains the basic features of Rayblaster.
Besides that the website contains some additional information about Rayblaster.
3.) The user manual:IMO this is the most important resource for informations on Rayblaster. It could be found in the "Help" menu at the GUI of the plugin, as a PDF in the installation directory ("Rayblaster.pdf") or at this link which i just created:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53230726/RayBlaster.pdf4.) The Rayblaster forum at theofficial public Tone2 forumhttp://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?board=30.0This forum could be read by anyone but posting is only allowed for registered customers. Anyway some of the download links posted should be usable as long as they are not protected.
This includes lots of informations about Rayblaster, also regarding updates etc.
5.) My own thread at the e Rayblaster forumhttp://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=1336.0I have created an own thread at the Rayblaster forum which includes downloads for free waveforms and explanations/tips on how to use those waveforms and the synth. Sometimes i copy my responses from KVR to there for having them on one place.
6.) Rayblaster demo version and factory presetsAnother good way to learn about the synth is of course to use the product demo and especially look at the factory presets to see what is possible and how this could work.
In this respect the Tutorial presets in the "Tutorial" sub folder are quite interesting and useful.
In the manual usually for each important feature a corresponding tutorial preset is mentioned for checking that feature.
7.) Additional soundsetsAdditional soundsets for Rayblaster are on the way, the first one will be released soon:
http://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=1350.08.) KVR threadhttp://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=364536&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0Last but not least tons of informations were provided during this thread which i had already done before the official release was even done.
Those informations include basic features and also sme advanced informations which i found out myself.
There was also information about tests on CPU use, RAM use etc.
