We are doing a demo-song contest for Warlock. You can win these prizes:
1st prize: Tone2 Complete Bundle (worth $999; includes all synths, effects and expansions)
2nd prize: A Tone2 synth of your choice (worth up to $189)
3rd prize: An effect of your choice (worth up to $79)
4th prize: A sound-set of your choice (worth up to $59)
How can you take part?
Anyone can take part. You can either buy the full-version here:
https://www.tone2.com/warlock.html
...or download the free demo here:
https://www.tone2.com/download.html
1) Create one or more impressive jingles that use several instances of Warlock. The song style can be any style you want. Make it interesting with some modulation though. External drums or EQs are allowed. Be careful with compressors, limiters or clipping.
2) Save your track(s) as a 96 kHz WAV file (if possible). Each jingle should be between 30 seconds and 60 seconds length and be submitted as a separate file.
3) Send it to markus[a t]tone2[dot]com before March the 7th
4) We pick the best jingles and present them as demo-tracks on our website
5) The winners will receive their price by email
Examples:

Further terms:
By submitting a demotrack you grant us the permission to use it for advertizing. The licenses of the prizes are NFR (not for resale).
We are looking forward to your submissions!

BOOM! I'm ready ;D 8) :P

Hi Markus, can we use the demo version for this contest? Assuming that even with demo limitations it will be possible to produce 30 sec. jingle. The thing is, I still haven't decided whether to buy this synth as I own Electra, Rayblaster and Saurus which seem to cover my needs nicely.
-
Yes. You can use the demo.
-
Hey Markus,
I'm very much looking forward to taking part in this. Warlock has been an amazing synth so far. Very inspiring! :)
-
Well, I’ve got my submission(s) in. Provided me with a great excuse to be creative this weekend. Warlock is a beast and very inspiring! Thanks for the opportunity, Markus. :)

Hello Markus,
Thank you for allowing me and others the opportunity!
It's been quite a long time since I was that creatively inspired. Warlock is my first Tone2 synth, but it will not be my last. ;D
You have done an outstanding job of creating a soft synth that doesn't feel or sound like a soft synth. Remarkable.

When I click on the link to check out the demo winners i only see songs that are 5-7 min long. These can't be the winners of the demo competition cause the rules were :30 -1 min demos. Perhaps they haven't been posted yet?

Hi. Each of these six demos demonstrate a certain genre and consist of several shorter songs. These were made by the participants and not the whole demo, which is between 5-10 minutes long. For example section 1.: First song from 0:00 - 0:49, second from 0:49 - 1:36 and so on.
-
Wow, it got really quiet on this thread after the competition. ;D
