Dear Markus,
is there a possibility to get the factory patches of Icarus 1 (1.6)?
I just got Icarus 3 and was too dumb to save my favourite I1 patch.
Sincerely,
Heiner
Hello Heiner,
Here are a bunch of sounds that have been removed in Icarus3 that were included to the previous versions. You should find the patch among these:

Thank you so much, Markus!!

Unfortunately, the patch isn't included; I've gone through them all. I think you'll recognize it right away when you hear it and maybe you can help me. Unfortunately, I'm totally incapable of setting it up myself in Icarus 3, so I have to rely on the preset. It's actually a simple warm pad, but it's outstanding in quality and wonderfully lively. You can also customize it great with the mod wheel—I really only need this sound... In the attached example, Icarus 1.6 kicks in after just two bars:

It's a lowpass filtered sawtooth pad.
To recreate it in Icarus3:
1) Init a new patch
2) In Osc1 change 'Mono' to HyperStereo 4 and set Spread to 30
3) In the filter section change cutoff to 50%, set key to 100% and select LP Butter 24dB as filtertype
Thank you very much, now I learnt something! It sounds pretty close to the original patch. Are there any courses on how to implement specific sound ideas in Icarus 3? I would be interested in that.
